A Safety Cap suitable for PFAS analysis (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) contains no fluorinated materials itself. Otherwise, components like PTFE could distort the measurement results.

SCAT therefore offers Safety Caps with a core made of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) – a PFA-free material that enables reliable analyses.

In this version, even the fittings are made of PE instead of the usual PFA to avoid any fluorine contamination. This is especially important for laboratories and industries that rely on precise PFA detection.
